The latest CPAY update is live - and it’s packed with new features, smarter security, and a smoother experience for both developers and users.
Key Highlights of the 4.8 Release
Support for BASE Network
CPAY now supports the BASE blockchain network, expanding the list of available chains and enabling more flexible payment and token sale configurations. Merchants and platforms can now accept payments and deploy services using BASE with full CPAY integration.
Optimized TRC-20 Withdrawal Fee Structure
To ensure greater cost-efficiency in transaction processing, we have revised the MinerFee calculation for TRC-20 token withdrawals:
- Wallets with existing TRC-20 tokens: from 6+ TRX
- Wallets without TRC-20 tokens: from 13+ TRX
This change significantly reduces overhead for partners managing large volumes of TRON-based assets.
Improved Interface Flexibility
To offer partners greater control over the user interface and user journey, the following customizations are now available:
- Option to hide the Retry button for Sale, Sale Token, and Cart flows
- Ability to disable auto-regeneration for Donation links
These updates provide enhanced UX control for custom checkout scenarios and marketing funnels.
Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
To further strengthen account security, 2FA verification is now required for any changes to a user’s email address or phone number. This measure helps prevent unauthorized access and account tampering.
Enhanced Public API Capabilities
Developers now benefit from expanded public API functionality:
- New endpoint for viewing transactions associated with a specific checkout
- Addition of clickId to all public endpoints for charge retrieval, improving event tracking and campaign attribution
User Experience Enhancements
We’ve made a series of UX refinements, including:
- Smoother checkout flows
- Suppression of transaction records with amounts less than $0.01 USD, to reduce clutter and improve data readability
Bug Fixes and System Optimization
This release also includes numerous under-the-hood improvements and minor bug fixes, further enhancing platform stability and responsiveness.
Conclusion
The CPAY 4.8 release underscores our mission to provide a secure, flexible, and developer-friendly infrastructure for crypto payments. Whether you're integrating wallets, managing token sales, or building custom payment solutions, this update offers tangible improvements to both performance and control.
